New York City

There’s no place in the U.S. that can rock the Christmas holidays like New York City! My husband and I spent a week in NYC just to enjoy ourselves with great food, great drinks, and did some touristy things because of a Must-Do’s Christmas in NYC per google below.

Absolute Must-Do's During Christmas in NYC

  • Rockefeller Christmas Tree.

  • Radio City Rockettes.

  • 5th Avenue Window Displays.

  • The Nutcracker.

  • Bank of America Winter Village.

  • Rockefeller Plaza.

  • Dyker Heights Neighborhood.

The Rockefeller Christmas Tree is the most iconic vision of a NYC Christmas. Yes, there are crowds. But, even a glimpse of the tree is truly magical.

Let’s talk about the food and drinks. The “best” restaurant in New York City doesn’t really exist because there are tons of amazing restaurants in NYC and it depends on which cuisine you’d like to try! These are my favorites and recommended places not to miss if you haven’t tried already when you're in NYC.

Dinner:

Balthazar

Estela

Meadowsweet

The Nomad Restaurant

Thai food:

Uncle Boons

Somtum Der

Bars/drinks:

The Bar Room** (at The Beekman)

Nomad Bar.

Noodles:

Ippudo

Jeju Noodle Bar

Momofuku Noodle Bar

We absolutely enjoyed our holiday vacation in NYC except the snowstorm was striking us hard at the rooftop bar in SoHo. Shopping spree amid freezing air. All in all it was a good holiday. We ate and drank a lot!
